When I look around and see loads of expensive products on here it fills me with joy, I would love to have all of those lovely things. Sometimes it’s just not possible, especially now that I am saving lots of my money to buy a house! Here is my Affordable Favourites post, for those of you that don’t want to break the bank when buying your beauty and fashion items! p.s some of the prices may be a little wrong as I can’t remember exactly how much some of them were, but they should be almost right!! Enjoy 🙂
Oversized Floppy Hat – Primark £6
I’ve never usually been a hat person, but I have seen these everywhere and I absolutely love them. I think they look so elegant. This little beauty is for those summer days at the beach or walking around the city or in the beer garden! It looks amazing with everything from maxi dresses to jeans and a pretty top. I can’t wait to wear this with big curls in my hair!
Bed Head Ego Boots (Split End Mender)- Sally’s Beauty Supply £8.50
‘Bed Head’ products have always been loyal to me. They have an amazing smell and they always leave your hair feeling and looking beautiful. I couldn’t resist picking up a split end mender, I was intrigued to see if it would actually work. I use it as a sort of leave in conditioner on the bottom half of my hair. I’ve only had this product a couple of weeks and I can already notice the difference.
Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume 100ml- Boots £19.99
Ok so I’ve had this perfume since I was about 14 (not this exact bottle) and it is in my top 3 favourite perfumes EVER. If you’ve smelt this perfume you will know how amazing it smells, if not, you have to go smell it asap. It’s a very sweet smell, you only need a couple of sprays and it will stay on you all day. People are always complimenting me when I wear this perfume. It’s affordable and it really does smell beautiful!
White High-waisted Jeans – Primark £10
These are the comfiest jeans I own! I love that they are high-waisted because they look so lovely on with a top tucked in or with a little crop top. They are getting me in the mood for summer. And if you fancy it, Primark does them with the ripped effect too!
Avon Naturals Detangling Spray – £1.25
I can’t express how much I love this product, it is my favourite item I’ve ever bought from Avon. Every time I wash my hair, I spray this a couple of times on my hair, gently brush it through and I have no knots! It also acts as a leave in conditioner so it helps your hair feel silky and smooth too.
Simple Facial Toner- Boots £2.99
After taking all my makeup off, I use a little of this on a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face. It restores the natural vitamins and continues to clean your face while you use it. When you wake up, your face will be looking and feeling wonderful, I will definitely be buying another bottle of this toner!
Tan Sandals- Primark £8-£10 (sorry I can’t remember which!)
I was saving these for summer but I’ve already worn them several times, they are so comfy and look really really sweet on. I’ve worn them with a nice maxi dress and also with jeans and a top. I love the detail on them and love the colour. I think Primark also sells them in white, black and a coraly (not sure if that’s a word) colour!
Jane Shemilt, Daughter – Sainsbury’s £5.00
‘She used to tell me everything. They have a picture. It’ll help. But it doesn’t show the way her hair shines so brightly it looks like sheets of gold. She smells very faintly of lemons. She bites her nails. She never cries. She loves autumn, I wanted to tell them. She collects leaves, like a child does. She is just a child. FIND HER. One year later. Naomi is still missing. Jenny is a mother on the brink of obsession. The Malcolm family is in pieces. Is finding the truth about Naomi the only way to put them back together? Or is the truth the thing that will finally tear them apart?’ Such a good book, I’d recommend anyone that loves a bit of a mystery!!
Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed.
